Yeah why play the first Mass Effect. Just like skipping the first Matrix movie and going into the the sequel. Or forget about watching Star Wars and just go into Empires Strikes Back. Yeah might as well forget about Fellowship of the Ring and just go right into The Two Towers. :/

For once I agree with you Sarcasm. Even tho you think I have this evil agenda on faking my interest in the ps3. Demon's Soul gained my interest once I heard about the difficulty. Always loved hard core games. I beat Ninja Gaiden Black on Master Ninja when I was younger and that is still my main gaming accomplishment. Never really had another game that hard core since than. This one looks like it might challenge me.
Of course it was going to level out. Unfortunately lots of people here from the other side didn't have that kind of sense and thought the ps3 was going to sell like 500k a week forever. And now we have the ps3 selling less than the 360.
The 360 gaining and the ps3 dropping. The ps3 has been dropping every week since it's price cut. As expected of course. People went bananas here thinking the ps3 was going to catch up to the 360 by next year. LOL.
Anyway it is nice seeing Demon's Soul get some great sales for a title that is mostly unknown. Love this game. I seen my roomate play it and he hates it. That's cuz he keeps on dying. HAHA. He's such a noob.
I completely agree. Mass Effect is my favorite game this gen. I love the story and I feel that every gamer should experience this rare gem. This is possibly Bioware's best work.
Okay one more time for all those that think that Mass Effect 2 is going to the ps3. Mass Effect 2 is part of a trilogy. It's very story driven. In other words you need to play the first one to learn key parts of the story. How about the ps3 first work on getting the first one before getting the second one.

You are nitpicking Jdoki. First of all their are TONS of armor and weapon selections including the bullets and ammo you use. The side missions were a lil repetitive and could of used more variety. Everything else you mention is just a minor complaint. How about the epic storytelling? Great characters. Easily the best sci fi story I have ever experienced in a game.
